Yes! Each person must sign a liability waiver before participating in any tour. Guardians must sign the guardian’s name on the minor waivers (please don’t put the minor’s name in the signature field, we’ll have to have you re-do the whole thing!). You can access the waiver for your booking during the booking process.
Online booking provides an easy, convenient, and secure way to place your reservation. Please note that when booking online, your card will be charged for the full amount, and will be charged a fee to help cover the costs of having our calendar online. If you prefer to book by phone and pay when you come, we would be more than happy to help. Please call us at (941) 216-5466. Please note that you will still need a credit card to reserve by phone. It will not be charged except in the case of a late cancellation or no-show.
If you enjoyed the trip and the service, tipping is always appreciated! 15% is customary.
You may cancel your reservation up to 3 days before your trip. If you made your reservation by phone, your card will not be charged. If you made your reservation online, your payment will be refunded in full. If you need to cancel with less than 3 days notice, you are responsible for 50% of the total trip price. If you do not show up for your trip, or give less than 24 hrs notice, you will be responsible for the full amount.
Please plan to arrive at the boat at the start time listed on your reservation. Please note this may not be the same for each trip, depending on time of year and other factors. Every person in your group must have a signed the waiver
Except for our Dolphin Watching and Sunset Tours, all of our excursions require individuals to be in good general health and possess a certain level of fitness. If there is a question about your health, it is important you consult your doctor.
While we generally discourage pregnant individuals from participating, exceptions may be considered for Dolphin Watching and Sunset tours. We strongly advise consulting with your physician before making reservations. Ultimately, it is your responsibility, in conjunction with your doctor, to determine whether you are fit to participate. Nonetheless, we retain the right to decline service if we believe it would be unsafe for an individual to take part in our tours.
Smoking is only permitted off the boat. We have expensive premium seat cushions and upholstery to protect from burns.
Yes.
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks. We provide the cooler and ice.
Our World Cat boat rides flat but if you get carsick, you might want to talk to your doctor about recommendations.
Our trips are rarely cancelled but if they are it is due to weather or unsafe sea conditions. We understand that some guests are travelling from out of town to tour with us, and we apologize for any inconvenience – but our primary concern is the safety of our passengers and crew. While we will do our best to contact you at least one day before a trip is cancelled, we cannot always be certain until that morning. In the event that the conditions are deemed unsafe or too rough by the Captain, every effort will be made to accommodate guests on a different day or provide a full refund.
We are required by the Coast Guard to carry enough adult and child life jackets for everyone on board (children’s life jackets fit kids 40lbs and up). You are more than welcome to use ours, or you may bring your own. Our Coast Guard required children’s life jackets can be a bit bulky for kids so your children may be more comfortable in their own lifejackets if they have one.
